The trip from Georgetown to Southport, NC took us along the Waccamaw River...very green and worthy of a painting (Melissa?). The neatest thing was that we saw loads of Osprey nesting.

Southport has a nice mix of old, historic charm (with nearly every home along the water having a plaque dated in the late 1800's) and an active fishing industry. Plus, it is along Cape Fear River where harbor pilots are a must for large vessels manuevering through this tight span of water.
Tomorrow, we make our way to Beaufort, NC.
Hi. Yes we are very proud of you. But think about all the great memories you are going to have. I, of course would be looking for the nearest hotel with spa.
